Think Up Director Oliver Broadbent has been appointed an Honorary Lecturer at UCL’s Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering.The appointment recognises the increasing contribution that Oliver is making to the teaching of civil engineering in the department through Think Up activities such as the Haiti Disaster Relief Project, and Knowledge Club.
Oliver is the third member of the Think Up team to take up a role at UCL. Chris Wise is Professor of Design, and Ed McCann is a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor of Innovation at the department. The proximity of UCL’s campus to Think Up’s offices has allowed all three to develop a close working relationship with staff in the department – one which looks set to continue to flourish.
