We are pleased to announce that this year’s annual Big Rig Low Carbon Challenge, hosted by the College of North West London, will take place between the 11th March and 20th March 2013. The event will coincide with National Apprenticeship Week.
Participants will be given the challenge of designing and assembling a low-carbon shower system in a day. Each year the challenge takes on a new twist: two years ago participants had to build an entire low-carbon bathroom within their Big Rig; last year they had to incorporate a Jaccuzzi. We’ll keep details of this year’s event under wraps for the moment.
The Low Carbon Challenge is open to teams of all ages , from school aged, through to apprentices, HE students and teams of professionals. It is a great way to learn about low-carbon construction technologies and to develop practical skills, all within the exciting learning environment of the Big Rig.
The event is free to attend, but places are limited, so sign up quickly if you want to get involved.
